Abstract

Abstract. The article is devoted to three issues: firstly, the general text problem, its functions, the role in teaching mathematics, analytical and synthetic methods for solving text problems, schemes of text problems, stages of solving text problems, ideas of scientists in this field. Secondly, the most common text tasks for movements in the general education school curriculum, types of text tasks for movements, methods for solving them, solving problems related to movement using equations, using inequalities, as well as movement on water. Thirdly, examples related to the most common types of problems associated with movement, more precisely, complex problems in this direction and ways to solve them.
The article is intended for specialists involved in the methodology of teaching mathematics, school teachers of mathematics, undergraduates.
